Thank you friends for coming again... if you're not here well than I guess I'm just talking to myself. Ok, I wish to begin explaining the title of this post to you. As I am sure you know, there is a song sang by Cher, also the Kill Bill theme song. It goes like this: "I was 5 and he was 6, we ride on horses made of sticks. He was black and I was white. He would always win the fight, BANG BANG! He shot me down. BANG BANG! I hit the ground. BANG BANG, that awful sound. BANG BANG! My baby shot me down...." Ok, obviously the difference between song and title. Title is shorter (no duh) and baby has been replaced with friend. A person, I was starting to grow closer to, inch by inch, shot me down a bit. Dani, you're comments about a broken house hold hurt but I know you only want the best so I am gonna get up. Pluck those bullets out and shake your hand. We're different you and I, and you're much stronger (reffering a bit to the song) in how you.... *thinking of how to put this again* throw you're ideas out there. But I'm still always gonna keep trying to maintain peace.
Don't refer to the rest of the song please cause I don't know it. Let's just keep to that one little piece in case theres any other parts that wind up making me sound evil. Not good. Yes, you're right in saying that the "truth" hurts (supposing you're opinion is correct) but that's not whats bugging me. The think about guessing that my home is broken. My home is not! Oh... must check myself. I really want us to get along. And I know you said it with the thought that you may be wrong at guessing. I just... I don't know. I't really made my head hot for a second there. So I come forward again and shake you're hand, wiping the comment from my head. Thank you again Dani and I hope to talk to you soon!
HAVE A HAPPY DAY EVERYONE :)

Hi Taylor,
Just wanted to say hello and let you know that I've seen a few of your comments on other blogs and Ive been VERY impresed with your level of maturity. You have handled yourself with a level of grace and dignity that few adults possess.
Be proud of yourself. :-)
Lisa
Hi Taylor - I did not mean to offend you in any way by guessing you came from a broken home. It's not a far bet considering 2/3 children do - but I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way. Plus, if it's not true, like you say, then there is really no need to be offended because I was wrong.
When a child your age gets involved sexually, especially in a homosexual relationship, it is usually a strong indicator of something deeper going on. Again, I don't presume to know everything about you, but judging by your profile I can see that you are headed down a path towards total destruction.
God is a loving and powerful God, and He can heal us from the wounds in our life. He would not create you in His image to be "bi-sexual" and then turn around and call it an abomination (it's a strong word, but God said it, not me!). When we set out mind on Jesus Christ, He will set our paths straight.
You have your whole life ahead of you, enjoy your youth while you can and don't rush into adult drama prematurely – Trust me, it’s NOT worth it!
I will be checking back with you. Hope you have a blessed day. Also, feel free to email if you want to chat privately – I sure would be interested in hearing how your childhood has been so far and the type of relationship you have with your parents. You can get my email through my profile.
Take care sweetheart!
Thank you all!
Your all very kind. :)
Dani,
I'm glad to hear from you again. As I said, I have a bad habit of jumping to conclusions and such. It's a teen thing I guess being that I see it in some of my friends.
You're interest to know about my childhood? I'll see if I can get brewing up a post! :)
THANKS
~Taylor
myquestioningmind,
i believe you're right and it is odd for someone young as i to think i can identify myself as bi. i've heard it before. many adults that i know are like: "wow, i still don't even know me yet." all i know is for not and until then i am just me. and if me includes bi than me it shall be. does that make sense? please, i can understand you're concerned but even dani knows more about me than yourself and i'm not some phycological... if i spelled that right... case. I will check in on those links later and thank you :)
thanks
Umm... wow. I didn't think adults would actually care what I said. I am so happy that they do!!!
LOVE YA ALL
~t
Oh course we care about what you say, Taylor - otherwise we would not take the time out to offer advice and help you.
MQM and I have both gone through life the hard way, always learning the tough lessons on our own. There is this saying I used to go by - "A lesson is repeated until it is learned." Boy did I learn that one late in life.
If only someone would have invested the time and energy needed to help spare me from learning the hard way - I know I sure would've been grateful.
We all love you and want you to do what is right in God's eyes so you will maximize your quality of life and bring glory to the Name of Christ.
Check back with me later on my blog – I am going to put together some specific verses on “man and woman” like you requested, to help you understand more clearly what the Bible actually says on the topic. I will also give you a general outline of the Bible to give you a better understanding of the context. I know reading the Bible can be “boring,” seemingly full of contradictions, and extremely intimidating at first glance. But once you get rid of all your preconceived notions and actually start reading it, God will speak to you in the most powerful way and it will literally blow your mind.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Dani,
Thank you :) That'd be great if you could do that for me. I am checking in every now and then for updates in comments, post, ect. from you and the others.
That does make a lota sense: "A lesson is taught until it is learned." Hmm... I'll have to remember that.
It's not that I find the bible intimidating, I actually like some parts of it... it's just that ohhh yes, I admit. I'm stuck at a boring point! Hmmm... I'll go check if I can later because I can't remember. I wish the people who wrote it could be a bit more........... interesting? Well, there are teen kinda versions I think you can get. Ones in more plain English. See the one I have is quite old and belonged to my great-great grandma or something. IDK.
Hmm. Gonna check for updates one more time through and go off. The pages of my book are calling me. I'm hoping to increase my maturity and understanding on some issues by reading some (no, correction, reading a lot) of books this summer. So far I have:
Wicked
Son of a Witch
Boston Jane
The Princess Diaries(idk which one i'm on)
The Bible
The Old Country (...i think....)
Chronicals of Narnia (which I understand has a tight relashion with christian matters. lion=god/jesus. i'm slow on some things but i can figure that out!!!)
any suggestions??? nothing too complicated please. lol.
Luv ya all,
~tay
Hey Tay-Tay -
While reading the Bible start with the Book of Genesis and then read the Book of John (in the NT).
If you are stuck with what to read - read the Book of Proverbs! It's one of my favorites because it is full of practical wisdom and instructions for our daily lives.
Plus there are 31 chapters which makes it easy to choose what to read - just read the chapter which coincides with the day of the month. Example: today is the 26th so read chapter 26.
P.S. I'm done with my post for you, so come check it out.
Hmm... good idea Dani. The whole, date/chapter thing. I'll try it. :)
I loved you're post!!! It was really good. I posted comments there too.
~Taylor
